Really good ranch potato salad
Walked in with my girlfriend for lunch and employees were eating in the back. That's fine. I've worked for restaurants so I understand eating when you can. What got me though was the lack of cleanliness. It was the middle of lunch rush but the place was empty. I'm guessing they don't see much business. Instead of cleaning or doing something they chose to sit around and eat and talk. The kitchen was filthy. You could see food crumbs, grease, stains, and just gunk in general everywhere. Next, you have uncovered food. In an open kitchen it's especially important to keep food stored properly. What I witnessed here was conditions perfect for bacteria, mold, and disease. They had ingredients and food just laying out in third pans on the counter tops and near the dirty grill. Looking at all of this, I almost told my girlfriend we should leave but she insisted we try everything. I kept my thoughts to myself. Maybe I was just being picky or too hard. Paying for the meal, I paid $16.37 for my girlfriend and I. Normal price for an average restaurant. What we got though was something that looked worse than fast food. My fajita was terrible quality everything. Vegetables, chicken, and tortilla. My girlfriend couldn't even eat her pulled pork sandwich. It was so dry and unappetizing. She also found a bug in her potato salad. She threw it away and we walked out. Terrible restaurant. Avoid at all cost. I'm actually contemplating calling a health inspector. Terrible price for terrible food.
The Reuben is done well. The prices are reasonable.
